pbass are interesting for their color so to me this defeats the purpose plus as others have said looks blind but for someone with a collection of platinum fish it may be quite appealing

I'm not fan of platinum/albino fishes but platinum peacock bass...ugly as hell compare to other platinum species

Amelanistic? That's pretty cool, you still get all the awesome pbass patterns with that color morph.

Do we know enough to say whether the platinum variety a heritable trait or not? Is this something that someone methodically worked toward to produce? If so, I can understand the pride over the time and effort put into developing it.
