Its a miracle! Someone has answered my rant! Thank you sir thank you!
Yep, a record brood. Last months brood is almost ready to go to the lfs, after I select some for breeding. This will be my fourth generation, with no inbreeding.

Now found #'s 25-26. Unfortunately, the mother died in birthing. :(

2nd Brood. Found my 32nd fish. Got to see one of them being born. A very neat experience. It was born tail first.

Mine took a day to drop 40 between two females, at least thats what I managed to collect alive.

Just feed some of the offspring to your monster fish :)

lol i agree .. breed mollies and swords in more of a salt tank just for feeders to my salts.......platies would work great to

Yeah, they birth them one at atime until done, with a big brood it can take a while. I like mollies and platies as feeders and when running plant troughs usually add some to the tubs as mosquito control.

Mine won't be feeders, I'm trying to breed them to develop some interesting color forms. We'll see how this latest large brood turns out.

Also, the breeder net is getting full. I'm going to set up a rearing tank. What size do they reach maturity? I don't want any inbreeding going on. You know what that leads to. Driving a rusty pickup, poverty, and poor grammar.
