I would get that up cycled and running. in the mean time you need to be doing at least 50 percent water changes, better 80 twice a week with a good vacuum once a week on that tank. your fish fine but stressed. tank to small, you are going to need at least a 125, 6 footer soon. That is IMHO.

How's your benga? Did you isolate him yet? Have you tried any of the others recommendations yet? If you Google "cichlid white stringy poop" you may find the answers you need.

I isolate him and am treating him with api general cure.

Should I add some epsom salt along with the api general cure? And do I need to treat the main tank?

could be bloat I would add Epsom salt as well. Unfortunately from my experience unless it is a female holding chances of saving a fish that has stopped eating for long periods of time is less than 50%. A lot of the times for me its lights out for the fish
