Just wanted you guys' opinion on my new setup im in the process of purchasing. im planning on doing an aro(probably silver), Clown knife, and a couple of rays(motoro). they will soon there after(grow quick!) go into a 500g. Planning on doing bare bottom, maybe an fx5 as well as the sump.

Anyway, heres the setup:

210g single overflow.
Just a standard stand (that needs finished/painted).
ADHi 60 sump(rated to 1500gph, holds 7.5gallons of bioballs
Reeflo Snapper pump(rated at 2500gph, about 1200-1300 realistically.
maybe an fx5

is the overflow big enough for that pump/sump? Seem like a good setup? any opinions on it?

What kind of bio media should i use?

What kind of lighting should i get?

Here is the tank, and stand. you can see the sump in the background, im planning on repainting the trim on the tank and repainting (or finishing) the stand. i did this on my 75 as well, came out great.

measure the hole and see what size it is. But i do not think it will drain as much as your pump wants it to. You would etheir have to down size the pump or drill another hole above it.
 
anybody else?

i emailed the seller and asked what size the overflow outlet was drilled for.

it looks about 2" since the tank is 7x2x2

Maybe just get a smaller pump. Everything should still be ok. I can attest to a 950gph pump on one drain hole about that size. I'm not sure about anything higher. However I have thought about going to a 1200 gph and didn't anticipate any problems.
 
okay, i found out that its a 2.5" hole drilled for overflow. is this enough for 1000-1500gph????

how much do you guys think its all worth??

210g tank drilled with single 2.5" overflow
basic stand
adhi 60 sump ($350 - $400 without shipping new)
reeflo snapper pump (about $200)

im thinking about offering $$800 for everything. hows that sound?
