Glass braces at least 6-18" depending on the tank. Not plastic strips. In 35 years of keeping aquariums, I've only seen plastic strips like that on tanks like 40 longs and 55s. Do what you want, but in my experience that tank is going to be a headache and isn't worth $800.

800 isnt for just the tank, its also for the 400 dollar sump and the 200 dollar pump.
