PLEASE check over my 210g aro,ck,ray growout tank setup.

2.5" hole I believe is good enough for over 2000 GPH. With a hole that large, I wouldn't worry about what size pump you get. 5 cycles per hour, which is more than enough for your stocking level :), would be roughly 1050 GPH. That overflow will handle that no problem.

$800 is a steel I think. I bought a 180 for $800 with a Fx5, crushed coral, heaters, lighting and more and sold it without even using it for $500..... :(

I'd ask him what happened to the middle glass brace before buying the tank. I have the same 7'x2'x2' tank and it has an 18" glass brace across the center. Mine is an Oceanic tank.

Kind of ironic that I'm getting 15 silver arows tomorrow to go in mine to grow out for my 3600 gallon tank. I plan to do rays as well.

BTW, I paid $100 for mine and it included a custom stand, xP3, Fluval 403, 40 long sump, 3 Eheim pumps, a 36" UV sterilizer, and a bunch of other stuff. The people who bought the house it was in thought it was 100 gallons (who am I to question there information? LOL) and just wanted it out of their new house.

Doesn't seem like it needs the center brace as it already has the 2 plastic braces toward the center of the tank.

anyone else notice the trim on the bottom on the left side and back is about half gone? i asked for some more pictures. but it doesn't look good. i dont want a tank that isnt all there.

Good excuse to drop the price...You can replace those fairly easily.

I saw that, but I wouldn't trust that's how the tank was built.
most manufactured tanks have plastic trim with plastic supports. Its rare I see them with glass supports unless they are from a reputable custom aquarium shop.

The tank will be fine with those supports, no need to worry.

Most mainstream tank manufacturer's have center braces on tanks over 4'. My Ocean View 110 does and so does my Oceanic 210. Even my Oceanic 75 and 55 both have center braces and they are only 4'.

and this one has 2. why should i not trust it?
