When i first started in this hobby I had no problem with people keeping hybrids I personaly did not like them, but it didn't affect me so there was no problem. Now I go to an lfs and the only fish I feel safe buying are wild caught. I honestly feel that what I wrote was very valid so I ask you again please humanly destroy all hybrid fish or fish that you might be a hybrid.

What do you feel about different races mating? American Chinese etc? Kill them too? .....
 
Yah cuz finding F1's is soooo easy. (Sarcasm) I think about 1% if not less of fish are wild caught. Ive never seen one for sale actually... besides hatchet fish. Not everyone has the determination and money to go out and seek far and wide for a fish just because it comes straight from the lake/river it originated from.
 
Whats the problem with hybrids I think they are cool. So what if it's un natural or whatever your excuse is a lot of people out there like hybrids including me.

What type of fish did you get that you had to destroy because it didn't fit your standards? Is it not entirely possible that you simply got a low quality fish and not a hybrid at all? There are thousands of people dedicated to the preservation of individual fish species, hybrids hurt nothing. If you walked into a lfs that gets fish in bags from another source then you are asking for it. Find a breeder you can trust, stop being butthurt,and leave everyone elses fish alone

I'm honestly a bit disgusted hearing that you raised them for a year and then killed them because they weren't what you thought they were.
