Please don't move...snail trouble

i changed half the water last weekend. the shell almost appears to have moved farther back on his body. i cant see his feelers which is strange and a tiny thread is coming out of his side, as if he's trying to pass some waste but can't. he moves at night but is still during the day

if he doesn't move during the day that should not be an issue all snails are nocturnal so he not moving during the day is not an issue. although my snails move all the time and are always motoring my girlfriends i have never seen move but he is always in a different place after a night. I wouldn't worry I have also seen my snails have a string of waste that eventually goes away. I really don't think you have much to worry about I think if your water is ok then the little guy is just a little on the lazy edge or maybe introverted. My girlfriends has been around for a year and a half so he be ok.

It is normal for some snails to not move for long periods of time. Especially mystery snails.
