in jersey yes. h2o didn't have motos i pm'ed him and i didn't want to spend to much on my first ray. i just got back from SA and their rays look spectacular compared to this one and i was going to goto SA and see how much credit they would give me for my fish toward the purchase of a ray. but the vendor said he would take the fish which were FAT and heathy. as for why i bough it like i said i drove 40 miles with 2 fish and when i picked it i saw the hip bones but not the crater in the head because the tank had no light on it. as i said if i saw what the head looked like i would have said keep my fish tell me when you get more motos in and i'll use the credit in the future.
 
Damn, i would have thought a vendor on this site would sell better rays than that to a fellow member... Hope she makes it...
 
oh yeah and i only had 2 to choose from either this one or a smaller one nice pattern but skinny to in the hips probably crater in the head too but this one had an eye that looked like it was filled with blood
 
good luck, as long as ur water is good and she dosent have any paracites she should be fine. sometimes LFS owners dont want to spend money on feeding the fish they sell, so she could just be under feed, hopefully. post the name of the vendor thats rediculous, its naot like ur going back to the store anyway, protect fellow fishkeepers from being burned.
 
Who ever this MFK vendor is who sold you this ray should be ASHAMED of himself, This is truly the worst looking ray I have ever seen. I would demand my money back in full ASAP and purchase a real healthy ray. What a shame someone tried to pull the wool over your eyes. You could have gotten a marbled motoro from me for 225
 
Who is the vendor? Man up. You were screwed badly on that deal. Who did it? Their are a lot of good deals to be had in New Jersey on fish.
