The water change you just did... you didn't use any dechlorinator at all?
Test strips are almost accurate enough to detect ammonia in cat urine. Almost. Its close.
If you use chlorinated water for the water change you need to use dechlorinator. API water conditioner is my first choice, but many many people also like Prime.
Everything you are describing is acute toxicity. This is not an illness and its not osmotic shock. The question is... what is it? Something in your water is killing your fish. The gasping says its getting at your fish through their gills
Did you have any activated charcoal to put in the filters?
Lets dicuss these Jungle tab things... I don't know much about them.
What is your normal dechlorinator, why did you switch to them?
What is the does needed, did you follow it? Do they need to be dissolved before going into the tank or just tossed in?
Could a fish have eaten one?
