Please Help, Arowana Not Eating And Acting Wierd !

Hey people, I bought an Arowana on Monday and it hasn't eaten since, and now it keeps on floating around and floating backwards with its tail doing funny things, what is happening?

Not really, but cant you imagine it just generally floats around, is this normal? ill try and get some pictures though, and will it eventually get back to normal?

its also still alvive and iv tried whitebait because its the only food i have, i cut the whitebait down so it will be able to eat it, but it just swims away
