Wednesday13 would it be possible to see some pics of your tigrinum and any old pics with sizes listed would be greatly appreciated

In a 1700 pond atm so this is the best i can do for now lol...my 22-24" tigrinum. He did not get this adult pattern until 20"-22". He looked quite similiar to a p. Faciatum from 8-18". Ill have to dig up some old pics of him, there somewhere in my albums from yrs. Ago.

Not my pics but these show the pattern and head shape well...juvies as pictured above actually have a "lack there of" of pattern for most of their life until they really start putting on some size over 18". Even in the juvi stage the head shape is a dead giveaway.

Thankyou so much for sending them i think its just starting to set in the difference between them.im going to go thru your threads some more see if i can get some practice on i.d the differant types. Im sure i will be looking for your advice on another pseudoplatystoma i come across.great help thankyou

Typo? Didn't you mean reticulatum??
