The LFS that got me sells themselves as devoted christians lol. They named their store The Ark and play christian tunes inside while lying to and screwing everybody that they can. Trust no one! Lol. Fo real tho. Always do your own research

I have some good news and some bad news
Good news is he really liked the blackworms and he took a bite of a sliver side
bad news is my giant gourami decided to bite him. She has been moved to a seperate tank and I put some melafix into the tank
he seems do be doing pretty well, except for the gourami bite

Well, the curl has come back
this time worse than ever

he was very skinny and probably had some unknown disease from the lfs

They said that they where very sorry but they cant refund the cost
I've learned my lesson and I'll only by fish that arent expensive or delicate from them

If you bought it with a credit card I would challenge the charge. And if you want a black ray message me and I will share my experience Ive had with good sources.

Sorry to hear about your new ray dan such bad luck , same thing happened to my motoro if you can recall it happening ? There's not much you can do once curl sets in even with perfect water etc mine was feeding fine for a few months then a pH crash in my tank caused it to curl ( didn't help that my tester kit was expired never letting that happen again ) better luck next time bro don't give up on them just yet , have you took water samples to them etc in shop ? Get yourself down there and argue the matter you never know they may throw you something back as a good will gesture

Sorry to hear of your loss. Bit late now but if the tank you moved the ray to was on a different system you may have had different water quality and that stressed the ray again. Would have been better to have moved the other fish instead?

I only moved the tank mates, not the ray
I was worried about him getting even more injured, sick, or week in the move and him having trouble acclimating to the new water params
