please help! flowerhorn still has not eaten

You cannot get metro over the counter in the UK. Will need to get some from the states.
I have tried grinding up a metro tablet for human use, which I happened to have left over. It simply would not dissolve.

@ xthao3 ... the fish is a flowerhorn, not a frontosa. :naughty:

Not even in an Aquarium store? Metronidazole for Aquarium use? :confused:

It wouldn't make a difference at all. It's not the starvation that is killing him, it's the hex parasites itself.

Nope, needs a prescription from a doctor to get it. It is illegal for a pharmacist to sell it without one. All drugs/medications have far stricter controls in the UK.

A vet could also prescribe it, although finding a vet that knows anything at all about fish is v. unlikely.

hello mate, i am just keeping on with the treatment of the water in the tank
but i have orderd that salt (espom or something) and fish zole witch is
Metronidazole. they should be hear in about a week. hopefully he will
hang on that long!
 
the espom salt has come and the fish zole hasnt. he is not lookin to healthy atm.
he is just at the top of the tank still not eating. and had a big lump on his ceek. i really hope the fish will hang on till the Metronidazole comes :(
