looks to me as a myersi really stressed out or it could also be possibly be a kraussi. But im leaning more to the myersi side as the kraussi doesn't have that much blue hues on it . The bars are also different . Give it a few days and I am sure it will look a lot better to identify properly

Also called 'basket-mouth' cichlid. Don't keep them with smaller fish.

C. Myersi males can reach about a foot. Females are smaller.

I wonder how big it gets and what its requirements are..

I wonder if it is a recent discovery or just recently brought into the hobby over the past few years as I don't recall seeing them years ago.
