One of the best ways to tell if a Parachromis (almost any Parachromis) is a male or female, are the marking on the lower jaw.
Males tend to have a number of small spots, like this mature motaguense.
Females less spots and a couple (or a few) more prominent large markings on the lower jaw.

here's one of your pics below . As they age spots migrate some lessen, some disappear. Trying to guess on a youngster, is basically masterbation.
