my tig just loves hanging in the cormer free swimming vertacaly

as long as they have enought space to do this and turn then the tank should be fine as tigs are not that active

a 72x30x30 should last the tig for a few years they seam to grow fast up to 12-14inch then slow right down

So you are telling this guy to get a bigger tank because his catfish's nose is bent when you yourself have a catfish with the same problem and you say that it is normal- amazing.

The reason why your tig and many tigs swim vertically is because in the wild they live in high oxygenated very fast moving rivers, so they are constantly swimming. So to say that they are not active is incorrect. The reason they are inactive in aquariums is because you are basically throwing them from a fast moving river to a pond.

My advise for Tig owners is to provide them with plenty of water movement and lots of oxygen and keep the water temps in the 76-78 degree range.
