I want yalls advice on something I’ve been considering all week. I’ll try to make this short and to the point.

In my 50 gallon tank, I have 2 4”ish severums by themselves. They have attempted to lay eggs, but are never successful. They have been alone for about a month and previously were with a 3” EBJD and Endli Bichir. They grew up together since day one.

Now, in my 75G, I have a 7” Tiger Oscar, the EBJD, the 6” Endli, and 2 small bristlenose plecos.

To my question: Would it be okay to move the Tiger Oscar and 2 plecos over to the 50G and the Severums to the 75G? Would it stress out the Severums too much now that they have acclimated to their own tank?

I want to do this because the Tiger Oscar is starting to pester the EBJD.

Thank you for the help in advance!!

The oscar needs the 75 so keep him in there.
The endli actually needs about a 4 feet wide by 2 feet wide tank.
I wouldn't trust small bristlenose plecos with a big oscar.
I'd say get a bigger tank in the range of 125 gallons.

Thanks for your reply. But I understand that. These tanks are temporary as they are all juvi but Oscar is getting big. I think he’d be better off in a 50 by himself if I return plecos to LFS than in 75 with 4 other fish

A 7 inch fish that will grow to 12 inches or bigger possibly in a 12 inch wide tank? No

Why not move the jack demsey bsck to the 55?

Wait hold up, you said 50 gallons? The dimensions are 36"18"19"?

No it’s 48 x 12 x 21. I ended up moving EBJD to the 50 and he will be housed with the 2 4” severums for now.

I returned the 2 plecos to LFS. Now it’s the 7” Oscar and 7” endli in the 75 Gallon for now.

Thanks for the advice
