That would be very helpful and it is 100% accurate. So if you want exact answers, yes I would recon you do that.
 
Thanks for the responses everyone, but I got a local breeder to come over and vent it for me, and it is indeed a male. He also said he could get the black spot removed for me. Will my fish experience any pain if he does it? I don't want to do anything to it that hurts it.

Why would you like to remove that Black spot if its not given problem to your FH?

I agree also. I wouldn't remove the black mark because it is not common for a male to have that black marking. But it does occur. I'd keep that mark, it can be your one of a kind male FH. :D
 
The guy told me, if I were to sell it(Which I probably will not do), it wouldn't be worth much since it has the "Bad luck" sign.
