Could the low ph be the reason for them not eating?

Initially yes... But more problems come with extremes of parameters... Ammonia poisoning is not nice. But if they survive the light poisoning then you have to worry about the rest of water ever decides to invade...

I think the EBJD might have a dislocated jaw, because only the left side gill is opening wide, and it cannot close it's mouth. If it is dislocated how can this be fixed?

That is also another thing.. But still... To get it back either leave it.. Or pull the fish and push it shut . Do not push it if it has no give in the direction of the jaw structure. As if you push it and it goes backwards.. you could have more issues.

Can I get a more detailed explanation on how to reset the jaw. I really think it's jaw is dislocated.

First off, you want your ammonia readings to be 0ppm before you do anything extra? More than likely its poor water quality thats affecting the EBJD! Id do a 50% w/c today and test straight after, if its still not at oppm, do it again tomorrow! Keep doing water changes till you have readings of Ammonia 0ppm, Nitrite 0ppm and Nitrate 20ppm (or below), that is what is generally seen as good for South American Cichlids. With good water quality the EBJD should come around to the food in a few days!

If it is a jaw dislocation/break, then thats gona be extremely difficult to fix?! How big is the fish?

do very big water changes evreyday 50-75% with prime or some type of declorinator, add salt, boost the temp up and repeat evrey day until your amonia and nitrites are 0 nitrates can be at 20 or lower. right now i would focus more on your water than your fishes jaw.

if your fish live this cycling process post another thread about the jaw

Hey Nemesis, my gf lives in Flushing, know of any good aquarium stores around there?

Fish Town USA is awesome, it's on Northern Blvd near Francis Lewis Blvd. They have a huge selection of fish, and aquariums etc...
