i had company over this weekend and a lot of kid were running around the house i came to sheck on my fish after everyone left and i noticed my fh was looking different can some1 please help me as soon as i saw this i did a quick 75% water change but to me it seems like his head is sunk in and his colors is very dark and he mopes around and when he craps its coming out with like fungus on it

are you sure its fungus maybe a kid threw something like cotten in there.

it looks like deflation from stress. one of my fhs' head deflated when he was with another male which i thought was a female. after a couple weeks of water changes and a tank to himself. his kok began to grow again. now he is in a tank next to my female and his kok deflated again. hope this helps.....good luck

his stool was looking like fungus i was thinking it was the guppies i gave him i am now treating the tank with furan and he is swiming around again could it have been constipation

is the poop like cotton balls if yes
then it is hexamita which is affecting the intestines and the white cotton like poop is the corrosion of its intestines
bump the temp and treat with metronidazole and loads of water changes
if you don't act fast there will be an infection it will ooze puss and then die
this happened to one of my 13" FH which i had sold
and the fellow did not care for it properly

yes thats how its coming out and i will crank up the heat////i treated with furan for 2 days and today i did a water change like 50% and he is acting a lil better as far as swimming////how do they get hexamita???? and man i really want to thank you for the help

no prob bro i know if u could have helped me you would have but the good thing is some1 from the group knew what is was and helped out and now that i did my research it seems like thats just what it is and i sent my uncle to get the meds for me he is treating my tank for me right now cause im at work right this sec but i am gonna stay on top of this 100% and P.S. GUYS AND GIRLS dont feed ur fish guppies thats the only thing that i fed my fh different from day 1 they had 2 have been infected and he loved eating them so much
