i have 2 oscars in a 150 gal tank, one is 12in the other is 10. i have no idea what gender, they share this tank with some small cons , a small pair of JD's, and a large pleco. they have all shared this living space for about six months with no problems, untill recently. all of the sudden my oscars have started beating the crap out of each other! really bad
the smaller one is obviously winning, cuz the bigger one has chunks missing, i have seen them liplocking and twitching, and they aren't terrorizing anyone else in the tank. what do i do???? do i separate them? do i leave them alone? there has been no change in tankmates, water params , nothing, and i do bi weekly water changes. i just dont understand. my oscars are my babies i don't want them to kill each other. grateful for any suggestions, please help?!?
