I'm very concerned with my young red tail catfish. His fins are growing towards his neck. I got him when he was only a couple of inches and his fins were not like that they were completely straight. Before I got my large tank I had him and a tiger shovelnose in a 55 gallon. He loved hiding between a piece of Driftwood and the glass. So my only logical conclusion is that tell his fins grew. He has been in the new tank almost a month now. Although he is growing it doesn't seem his fins are straightening out. One of them is constantly rubbing against his neck and looks like if it continues to grow will grow into his neck. If anyone has any advice or suggestions please let me know if there is anything I can do. I figured worst case if his Barb penetrated his neck I would cut the Barb right below where it started to bend and hope that it would grow back. My tiger shovelnose was attacked by an Asian redtail and pretty much lost one of his fins and regrow the whole thing.
