How big was it when you got it?

About 6 inches when i got the aimara. It lives with me for 10 months, it grow to 9 inches.

Its tanks mate are Bichir ans insinet in 48x20x20 tank size. Sorry that i do not have photo that show all tank because i set the environment almost dark using black water ,if u see all tank u can not see the Aimara. But i will show u the tank of simease tiger 15" in 60x30x30

sometime,the aimara attack the tankmate but not strong ataack i think they can live together

will be prepare to have another tank for it..
before they reach 1ft they are still consider defensive mode...
above 1ft like mine 14ft when i bring home..it more to attack mode.
