If you have no idea what you're talking about, don't just throw out random fish names. That helps no one. It does not look remotely shad-like or at all like a white perch.

It's is obviously a cyprinid. It does not have the obvious barbels of a carp. It's a goldfish!

i have to agree with andyjs here, that doesnt look even remotely close to white perch or shad. white perch have two spiny dorsal finds and another spiny anal fin. they are related to striped bass and are morphologically similar to them.

lol, not really dude. i recognized that as a cyprinid right off the bat.
