i think is an australian Arowana , but im not sure.



also, what should i be feeding them? their around 3-4 inches.
i just got them today so they ahvent been eating yet , but i dropped some krill in for them incase.

if it were aussie I think the tail would be little darker . try to get more pic's get up a little closer ,if the photo's were detailed more ID'ing would be easyer :D
looks good so far....

can anyone recommend a diet for their colors and growth?

yup, looks like jardini's to me as well.. the price would probably tell us if its a leichardti cuz they are pretty rare compared to the jardini ;)

feed pellets and frozen foods like shrimp for color.. you can try mussels as well :)

give it 6 months and you will have an empty tank as will be big enough to eat its tank mates.The growth rate is fastest for the first year. Being one of the slowest growers in the Arow family, it will generally reach about 12 inches in the first year.then slows down .
