  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the feedback guys, sadly it felt like it was getting worse and worse...so i just placed him into the 10 gallon tank completly "cat proof" and left him in the shed...

Hope fully tomorrow it will be up and walking around....if not I've tried the best I could.

Most vet offices will refer to a local wildlife/bird rescue.
Birds go downhill extremely fast. It needs expert care, but probably can't be saved. Birds are poisoned by chemicals that are harmless to people. It's cruel to do the wrong thing, especially with wild ones.
I doubt that even a vet can remove cement from birds feet without killing it.
If you can't get it to the proper help, better to euthanize the poor thing quickly. call animal control, at least.
If you really care about the BIRD, get it to a vet. don't torture it with handling and chemicals. It's WILD.
and no, it can't go over the weekend like that.

I agree, it will be a tough job saving this, should try and get it to a vet or rescue asap.

I think that you have those mixed up with starlings..

thats an english house sparrow. them, starlings, and pigeons are not native.

"One of about 25 species in the genus Passer, the House Sparrow occurs naturally in most of Europe, the Mediterranean region, and much of Asia. Its intentional or accidental introductions to many regions, including parts of Australia, Africa, and the Americas, make it the most widely distributed wild bird."

Oops, I thought it was a native species of sparrow; I'm not too great at my little bird IDs. Hopefully it's dead now.
