up until yesterday it was eating like there was no tommorrow.. then suddenly yesterday she stopped.. and today would not eat.. she was alone in the tank.. so no mate?? could it be possible it injured her mouth.. this is driving me crazy.. wow walmart had a nice fish.. yours turned out a beauty.
but still acts and looks okay

Its likely that she's just holding infertile eggs. Females "spawn" alone all the time, and spit the eggs in a few days. I'm telling you, she looks like she's holding.

No, not now. Maybe she just had her mouth full of food when you took those other pics? Or maybe she did hold infertile eggs and has eaten them already.
