I have a 55 gallon with a ornate bichir, senegal bichir, and a silver aro. I've been wanting to get a pleco but not one that gets super huge. Any good recommendations? I want to stay in the 10-60 dollar range. Thanks!

plecos take a REALLY long time to get big so dont worry about it. i'd say... just get whatever pleco you want to get, i had a 55 for years and my plecos never really got much bigger

In my experience if a pleco is well fed at all it will attain a large size in a short period. I have a common that is 10" that I "rescued" from a woman that had it in a ten gallon with 10 feeder goldfish.

HeHe. don't let the website fool ya. Mine goes great with my 2 ornates and endlicheris. But if they don't want them around they will let it be known.
