PLECO HUNT

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm not trolling, I'm letting him know of the hypocrites that are on this forum... that they change the rules to suit their needs. Let him read and judge for himself who gives good advice.

I dont see how were hypocrites, we both said that re-home COULD work MAYBE but you are better off killing in OUR area because there is SO MANY. Do you know of someone that wants a 2 foot pleco? I can go out right now and 30 mins catch him and try and sell or give away... Why would anyone pay to get a big one when they can buy a smaller one, grow it, from the LFS.

Im pretty sure that if you ask the game warden he'll tell you to kill it..

Once i get the big one in my park ill take a pic of it its monster im surprise the game warden hasnt removed because the stock bass there all the time.

Anyone ever tried eating one? I know in the fish markets in brazil they sell them. I bet you have to know how to clean them just rt like carp to be able to eat them. Though I do remember a NatGeo that showed some natives roasting them in a fire.

I bet you have to filet it in strips like a fish stick..I wouldnt mine trying it, but im scared about the bacteria they could have or something weird.

if they're breeding in the wild shouldnt be any different than your common natives as far as table fair
