How can I make my pleco grow faster then just naturally eating algea?? Thanks

What type of pleco? A varied diet helps.

Cucumber - I feed my common it all the time. It sits untouched for a few days sometimes 'til it softens i guess then he eats the whole thing in a day. Also corchet - spelling wrong lol. Also they love half a potato cut open. Takes a week before they start on it and you nee a big water change after they've done. All this and plenty of light / water changes speeds it up, my plec is growing at a good rate now.

Yeah, cucumber works well.

strap the cucumber down to a rock so it sinks using a rubber band and before you do that boil the cucumber for 30 secs ro a minute

I used to put a small spoon through mine, but no point ive found he eats it hanging off it in the dark as it floats round - it's like a game to him haha.

First of all its important to know that your pleco will not survive eating algae as not enough will grow in your tank. It needs to be able to find leftovers from the main feeding.

secondly I would not recommend power feeding for a pleco. Most get HUGE and will soon be a giant slow moving turd you cant house properly.

Two things. One, cucumber is nutritionally lacking, and is not a very good food for your pleco. Zucchini is a much better choice. Two, leaving the cucumber in the tank for 2 days, it is unlikely that the pleco is eating it, but rather that it has just broken down, and has fowled your water. Veggies should be in the tank for no more than 12 hours, after which they should be removed.
