Pls help!!! Cracked my 210 gallon glass tank ='[

Is buying a new panel to replace the cracked panel an option?. I did this with a smaller tank and was trying to image doing it with a much larger tank.

PS: I feel bad for you and can imagine how I'd feel discovering a crack like this.

My first try at repairing the crack was a fail. But after doing some research and talking to others who have repaired cracks on large glass tanks there's no way this repair is going to fail. I'm willing to bet my left nut on it.

Hey surfer did the nut survive?

In a similar position, was gifted a somewhat large tank. During move cracked bottom left corner not to large though about 3-5 inches on each side. I'm just not stupid enough to put water in it, but I always wonder.

Is there any hope?

I did the same kind of sandwich repair on a 6ft tank, that was about 5 years ago. When I moved, I gave the tank to a friend, he moved it on a trailor, across town, and walked it ito his house. The tank is still up and running. It had a stress crack on the back, and another on the side. I believe the panes used as a sandwich need to be large enough to extend further out from the initial crack, and lock into the corners, to add to the tonsil strength needed to accommodate water pressure, which adds extra stress.
