Imo not a stars and stripes puffer...looks nothing like the one i have in full marine. Probably why its doing so well in fresh. Are there more than one species of ss puffers?

Coloration and markings are similiar but def. Not the same. Note the distinct yellow mine has near the fins and white patches near the underbelly. The o.p.'s also has a tigher spot pattern. Any marine one ive seen resembeles mine. Not whatever this guy has lol...very interesting.

This is a stars and stripes puffer, its a marine fish please edge to marine. some subspecies do approach brackish but please, please head to marine. you need a 180gallon tank in the end...
