I have a jebao1200 that I need to plumb. The return is 1.5 inches wide. Do I want to use the white pvc female adapter with tapered threads or the grey female pvc adapter with non tapered threads? I think the threading on this is metric? I think once I get either on I am not getting it off so I am trying to figure out which will give a water tight seal. I also have a gasket to that will go between the fitting and the pump.

I would use Teflon on either.

I actually ended up running 1 inch clear tubing off of it with a clamp which connects to my PVC system about 2 feet later.

Did you use the adapter it came with then a barb to the PVC?

all my intakes and returns to both pumps on the 180 are tubbing clamped to pvc on the pumps and the bulls.

I like it because leaves the pumps themselves free floating per say. I can move them around a bit with out worrying about a hard connection.

tank is duel bottom drilled.

to clamp he must be running barb, not sure how else you clamp.
