Tank looks great! From what you stated it wasn't this way prior to the dollies? That said definitely think you will want to do something to level. I used self leveling concrete for mine. That said I'd let it sit and check.

If not I'd simply ditch the foam board and shim it

I checked again this morning and saw that the gap wasn’t getting any smaller. I ended up just taking the foam out and letting the tank sit on the floor.

with how close it’s sitting to the walls I was only able to check two sides of the tank and added shims where therewas a slight gap. The other two sides I could not check. I also got on the tank and jumped on each corner to see if there is any movement. Seems stable.

I skipped out on the self leveling concrete due to my garage floor having epoxy and didn’t want to ruin the floor if I moved.

Put the first coat of pond armor on and it wasn’t too bad. I only wished I brought a larger brush roller to cover more area.

I tried to make it a thin, even coat the first time. As for the thickness I know there is a min of 10mils, but is there a max?

I believe you want a thin first coat so it soaks into the wood & I haven’t heard of a max thickness on these.. just that you dont want to do very thick coats at once

Hey all, it’s been busy so I haven’t had a chance to finish up the tank. Right now I got the last coat of pond armor drying.

For the fiber glass in the corners that did not sit flush. Should I cut that up and redo it or just give it some more epoxy? There is like 4 spots like that. I tried to take a good picture but the glare makes it hard.

Cut/grind/sand those out in my opinion. How have you handled doing the fiberglass on the vertical faces?

For the verticals seams I just did the same thing as the corners. I put down some pond armor then laid the fiber glass on top of them then put on more pond armor. During doing this I found the key to doing it well is to apply a good amount of pound armor so it soaks through

the pvc on the wall run my air and water. I use a sprinkler valve system to perform daily water changes. The air is run off of one large pump

Another milestone, the glass is in. I bought some cargo lock extension, they did a pretty good buy but was hard to get it tight. Now we wait. I figure I’d give it a 5 days or so before I start the film test.
