10 mils isn't 10 mm, it's the plastic gauge.

1 millimeter = 39.3700787401575 mils so he's well above the needed thickness.

I got like up to 3mm or more in some area's thats like 120 mils --- > 12 times recommended :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

I built a 8x2x2 out of ply and used pond sealer to seal it and silicone to put the glass in. They did not stick well at all to each other. Granted i used a diff sealer (crommelin) but its something to keep in mind. Maybe even do a test on some scrap. Oh and the product i used is made in Australia.

Thanks for the heads up. It was recommended to use a dow silicone by pond armor and when I talked to Dow agent ( Lincoln Sentry) they have recommended Dow 580 which is designed for glass, fiberglass etc, but yes I do plan on testing it first on some scrap. :)
