The stand is going to be constructed out of 2x4's, i dont have the tools to work with 4x4's. Iv made one for a 90 gallon, and iv learned a few things of what to do and what not to do.

I just need to find a level enough surface to start it on. precise measurnments and strong joints are key in my book for a stand

Probably start it after i glass the tank
 
im just going to cut out the hole thing for the viewing window, no vertical center support piece. it will look a lot nicer then the glass being split in 2
 
dj, all i have to say is good luck and i hope it turns out cool so far so good, i won't knock and i won't praise it but i hope it does fine if you decide to leave the 2 glass way you can use water proof dim lights for night viewing
 
i just realized i have a lot of sanding, and a lot of cleaning before i start fiber glassing.
