i say it will be fine
but that is my design for the glass i have which is also 1/2 inch
my glass is 6' long yours is 4'
i would use all 3 of your big pieces in the front to get this size of tank or shorten your tank to 9' long to get the same look

remember height of the tank is the most important factor in glass thickness
i am no expert tho so remember that also

but the possibilities are endless for the glass you have
just throwing this out there for you to chew on

try garf.org and go to DIY section an under tank building go to ply wood tank. it will tel you how think of glass but it will only allow you go to 96"x36"x36".
