Heres an idea. Lets say the glass is 4'x30". Use that as the width of an aquarium, then buy 3) 8'x30"x1/2". 1 for the bottom, 2 for the sides. Then you have an 8x4. The End.

The end of my money to spend LOL. And a glass box that weighs a ton and is very fragile since the glass is only 1/2". You couldn't use 1/2" to build an all glass tank that size anyway.

Lol, this thread got me thinking with all the talk of turning garages and bedrooms into aquariums. My garage is 30'x30'x10' wonder the gallons it would hold! Wife is probably cringing right now. For now though my future 15'x8'x4 1/2' will have to do.

so... 360x360x120= 15552000/231= 67,324 gallons.
