the salt will not hurt your fish, but 86 to 89 degree is better, IMO.

never used pimafix, but i think there's direction on the back of the bottle.

I like coppersafe. My juvi monos had ich a couple of weeks ago and I added the coppersafe, raised the temp and did frequent water changes and the ich went away in like a week. G'luck
