same it's like this: if you killed an animal, you pretty much did it for no reason as it wasn't going to bother you and has no intention on bothering you so you go muck with it and bash it over the head and sell it's skin to some leather company. the sad thing is a lot of people just say "hey it's a dumb animal" when in fact these feel pain and the need to survive and when you come along and let them die a terrible death for profit....... that well... disgusts me
with people other than children, sick, old. they can fight back, they have the power to defend themselves from your base ball bat or gun ect
but like I said earlier the animals can't defend them selves in a way that can save them, and if they do get away they will likely get shot by a rifle or snared

To add to this thread I just want to say people like this in my mind are viruses that need to be destroyed. Make a living my arse! There are much easier and less destructive ways to make a living. Things like this just disgust me and make me sick, that we are supposed to be the top of the food chain with our minds and intelligence to build things, and imagine ways to make our lives easier, but instead we use our intelligence to eradicate every other living thing on this planet including our own species to purely benefit our own self being. In my eyes we are the only thing on this planet that is helpless and weak. The human being's ways just disgust me; we are viruses and a plague on this planet. sure some of us try to make it better and coexist with the natural balance of life but the rest and overall population on this planet simply lives to destroy everything around for no reason other to simply be in charge and in control of every little micro-organism on this planet.
 
another thing we have to keep in mind. people eat the reptiles we keep as pets, if they are native to the area where they live. its the same with fish and everything else. my uncle married a Brazilian, and when they were first dating and she was up at my house she thought it was weird that i kept the iguana as a pet. she said they are used as food down there.

i know that this is poaching but i just thought i would ad that.
 
the snakes are used for food. those are not poachers. what happens in texas ,to rattle snakes are worse. people gather up as much wild rattle snakes as they can find and hey all get put into a pit and most are killed for the skin and rattle as keychain
 
i new york guinea pig can be found for $30 a dish in spanish areas, and rabbits are found in little italy hanging from hooks. food is food. its just some people keep food as pets.
 
Tbh, I hate to see it, and I can cry about the retics and monitors all day, but when it comes down to it, I would do the same thing to feed my family. To those of you saying "Can't they get another job", its not that easy to just switch jobs in these countries. You can easily lose your job if your employer hears you are looking for a new one.


Can you honestly say that you (and subsequently, your family) would starve to death before you did this?

we do it to cows, chickens an such to eat.

we also go out and shoot wild animals for food as well.

dont get me wrong i love animals, and i do believe poaching is wrong
 
The price of beauty...very disgusting to see the handbag.

Fur, meat industry...just as atrocious.
