It depends on the culture and structure of society. What they are doing may be what they have been doing for a long time. They just have a bigger market now with fashion idiots.

100% true;) People eat monitor and python for as long as it has been people and it had litle inpact on them. The prob is that nowadays both the serch for exotic meats and leader has exponensialy increased alongside habitat destrocion, polucion, pet trade capture (wich however in the end may be their only hope of survival),etc. With so many things reducing habitat and the animals themselfes its amazing that they are still so numerous as they are (but declining...)

It's sad to see, especially them handing the live ones to choke for as long as needed, but we do more cruelty to our food animals than they do.
At least those gorgeous babies got to live long lives in the wild, and not crammed into cages so tiny they can NOT turn at all. Chickens are forced to have enough room to move your neck to eat and lay eggs until they are sent to die, pigs are in pens MAYBE big enough to turn around if they are lucky, then be treated like crap and be beaten by the workers, then go to have their throats slit or heads bashed in, same with our cutsie cows, used race horses - What they're doing is absolutely no worse than here.

At least food animals are not endangered or declining, in fact they are amazingly susessfull now because they are of some use for us. Never before existed such diversity and quantity of this handfull of species

Those pictures really do kill me to see but I believe it is the people who are wanting the end products like the bags that are responsible. if the culture was getting enough animals for them alone then the populations would not be hurt. thats my thoughts.

You are right, the meat industry in the US is just as cruel. I'm not trying to be particularly cruel to these guys, they are just an example of the people that I hate.

Actually, the poaching of monitors and pythons has had a big impact on their population.

That´s what I said;) Alongside all thouse factors. However people had did this for tousands of years and hunting alone didnt cause their exctincion. Now there more people, less habitat and a big market for them wille a 1000years ago less people, a huge asian wilderness and people hunted to survive, not to buy pickup trucks

That's Life!

Get Over It!

and

If you don't like it...

TOO BAD! There nothing you can do!

:D

If the exotic animals were to extinct, let them be! If they goes extinct, so does the people in the surrounding area too! ^^

If none of these animals exist, then there won't be any more of these slaughters, but as long as they are there... You CAN'T do a thing about it! ^^
