so, you see a car about to hit your kid, you see him coming, get a read on plate. kid plowed, you looking to your kid at this point, not looking to read a plate as it leaves. you look in your rear view mirror and guy is obviously toasted, all over the road. He is in and out of his lane and tail gating,
Oh sure...I bet you can come up with hundreds of scenarios and reasons for having two as that has been a part of your entire life as a motorist in that area....just as I could come up with oodles of examples on the opposite end since we have never had to deal with that.

What's this about using my noodle? I don't make the laws.It simply has never been an issue here but if it did I would have no choice but to abide by it.

Pops you're drunk again. If someone is going to hit your kid, you're not going to look for a plate before your kid is hit. If you have your wits about you, maybe you'll get it as it passes. And if someone is going to rear end you, AND run, YOUR car will likely be in a better shape to do any running or chasing to get a plate #. Do you really think you're going to process a crazy driver and read a plate in a rear view??? THAT'S why you're been tailgated, you're trying to read a backwards license plate, pay attention to the road old man!!! HOOOOOOOOOONK!!!! :D

sorry did not mean to offend, to me its just common sense. A car has the ability to altar some ones life for the rest of there lives, and kill, by the simple act of some one operating it. what ever means are needed to identify the operator that has recklessly altered a ?A person just going about there day to day life is a good thing in my book, I do not conceder a plate on the front of the vehicle that large of an inconvenience. I do not agree with any kind of a tracking device per say. that is an invasion of my privacy.

sorry but no way I am going to see having a front license plat as a bad thing or over burden on the car owner. guess we agree to disagree on this one.

No offense taken and as I have said you raise good points but I hold my position.Like I said,we have never had it here so it's like a foreign concept.

Lma i dunno pops whos gonna be able to read a license plate while driving from their rear view morrir, doesnt seem likely

you can not read a plate in your rear view mirror? not even a letter or number or 2? really?

Pops you know I'm messin with ya ;) no offense taken. Yes it's purely the cosmetics of a front plate that irritates me. But you could argue for identification sake your plate # should be visible from ALL angles couldn't you? Is that what we want?

just asked the 6 other drivers in my house ATM if they could at least get 2 or 3 numbers/letters from a car in there rear view mirror, and they all said sure, its back words but is stupid to think you not know a backwards S when you see it, or 5.
