They are too small to sex,IMO.
They are all FH. The pearls, and the flowerline is how you can tell on the fish you have pictured.

If you watch the video the it shows how trimacs have that kind of flowerline.

A common name is just a common name. Not every fish in the species falls under that exact criteria.
But fishbum was right, the flowerline is pearly. If I were you, Id stop belittling peoples opinions or nobody is going to want to help you when you have a real problem.
*I cant tell you exact specifics, but reason for female is the small head shape, round body shape, and fins. That is just a guess because you can never be %100 with young fish.

I know the way I am saying things are probably coming off rude but thats not what I'm trying to do. I was just asking you why you think its female because I wanted to know not because I thought you were wrong. I was though getting a little frustrated when people would just answer flowerhorn without explaining it to me. You explained to me why you say its a female and why its a flowerhorn and I thank you for that, I would just wish people would do that as well is all I'm trying to say.

Go put this in the FH section or go to flowercraze or whatever. Way too picky on your responses to ppl. You asked and ppl gave opinions, this is cichlid section. I think its a fh, I think youll see that when its bigger but im guessing, just off of what ive seen in fish before, like everyone else here says

Your question is like the other one that gets asked all the time.."um i dont know the specific breeder but uh he breeds fish and I have a red devil/midas, which is it??"

Your not gonna know for sure unless you know who raised it. Im sure youre not being a jerk but when I read all three pages and not knowing anything about it, it comes off that way

I realize after reading what I am typing and it does come off rude like I said and I'm not trying to be. At this point I don't care what it is as long as its male. I'm stressing my self about about the situation and I shouldn't be so I'm just done.

The fish is too small to tell. Grow it up and re-post 6 months down the road.

I see nothing that jumps out at me that says it's a flowerhorn. The Wetspot is a very credible store that I have been to in person many times. Though they have sold low grade flowerhorns that looked similar AS FLOWERHORNS.

I'd say if you bought it from the Wetspot as a trimac, treat it as such until it's full grown and can make a better, educated guess.

If you're not breeding the fish call it whatever you want.
