didn't know you were french, Lupester
LMAO! Because of my greeting? You're only partially right. I do have French blood but don't really speak French fluently.

I belong to the ACA and the Circle City Aquarium Club (CCAC).

Nothing better than hanging out with a bunch of fish junkies!

NO, can't be bothered. Most of the people in these clubs annoy me. They're into breeding fish etc. I just want cool fish, so that when people come over, they're like "what is that"???

I am a member of Madison Area Aquatic Hobbyist and the American Cichlid Association. I don't always have tank space but I love going because it's fun to talk with people that have similar interests. Also if I need to rehome some fish, I'm glad they have a place to go besides the LFS. It's fun to see what people are breeding and learn more about different species. Plus I get a ton of plants(and fish) for CHEAP.

I agree to a point, most fish club members act like if they were in the club before you they are a better fish keeper and you are beneath them.Would like to join a club but i hate people that act like that and from past club visits(many different ones)most club members act that way(alot of members on here that have been here for a while act the same way, like if you ask a question their response is use the search function,or if you post a certain fish they have to trash your source or where they were collected)i for one just like keeping the fish i like to keep and i keep them very well so i dont need to be asked questions are belittled by people who feel they are the gods of fish keeping(we all started as newbies and we should remember that when responding to others) i think alot of members of clubs forget that, they didnt always start at the level of fish keeping they are at now.

This past year I started attending the club, in Fort Lauderdale.
This is a Freshwater club, and you can check out their website for info.

Best part about the meetings is the fish auction, I have picked up some real bargains, and you see some cool fish being offered up for just a couple of bucks.

I've been a part of gold coast for 3 years now. Who are you? Haha
