Poll: Member of a Fish Club?

I used to be a member of SCAPE (southern California aquatic plant enthusiasts) but only for a year.
the lawton betta society Yes, im a member of (CAAS) Charlotte Area Aquarist Society. I joined to meet other keepers, since i have joined i have meet alot of great people and have picked a bunch of killer deals. We also get 20% discount at sponsering fish stores.

I would like to start a cichlid club in my area,but it doesnt seem to be that much interest, I posted on here a few times about starting one in my area but not too many people responded.But if anyone in the southern new jersey,philadelphia area is interested let me know. There are a few clubs in the area but none for central or south american cichlids.
Bill from *** (*******************), which is an online "club" but has in-person events like auctions and group visits, is on the Jersey Shore.
Most *** folks are into Old World Cichlids, but there are a few new world folks.

Most of the *** folks are into africans(been to a few of thier events)most are nice folks though. and the clubs in philly cater to angels,guppies and regular tropical fish(been looked into them)our area there is not a lot of fish clubs at all,and most of the pet store only carry the basic central and south american(oscars,jackdempseys,rd/midas mix,firemouths)had the owner of two pet store come to my house and they were amazed at the amount of central and south americans i have in my possession and most they never heard of.
