Do you guys think the amount of food a poly is given will determine if it will or won't try to eat it's tank mates? For example if you skip feeding a day or more as opposed to feeding daily even twice daily do you think your more likely to be missing a few tank mates when you come home?

That's quite possible. But wild animals in general are opportunistic so I'd have to say probably not. Obviously a hungry animal is going to start looking for something to eat and if they can snatched it then they will.

So do you think its more likely these polys were eaten due to the fact that poly's are opportunistic or because they were under fed by their owners or had to fight too many other tank mates for food which lead them to eat tank mates?
