That's quite possible. But wild animals in general are opportunistic so I'd have to say probably not. Obviously a hungry animal is going to start looking for something to eat and if they can snatched it then they will.Do you guys think the amount of food a poly is given will determine if it will or won't try to eat it's tank mates? For example if you skip feeding a day or more as opposed to feeding daily even twice daily do you think your more likely to be missing a few tank mates when you come home?
