I used to thaw and cut with kitchen scissors. I like the food processor idea that fred uses, esp. for smaller polys/ropes but have not done it myself.

It is totally up to the person doing it you are correct. There is no wrong or right way. It's just consistently a question I see asked. So thought this would be a great idea.Sorry i cant make a video, kinda hard to prep food/cut tilapia and hold a camera to make a video at the same time, but this is i make my poly food.
Step 1, defrozed the fillet, i defrozed mine by just leaving it in the counter for 15-30 min.View attachment 1311116
Step 2. I slice the tilapia in a thin layers.

Step 3, i slice the thin later into strips.

Step 4, i cut the strips into a dice size and small enough for my polys to eat.

Feeding time
Its really up to the person how they prep the food, some people do it differently.
Sorry for the long feeding video![]()

When i had big polys i used a whole fillet, but since mine are small there is always left overThat's how I do it except I use the whole fillet. Slice strips then cut into smaller chunks
