it really depends on the endl's size and the polli's size, if the polli was already 8"+ I might risk it if the endl was under 6". The reason I say this is it would give the endl some time to get used to the polli before it overtakes it in size along with getting him used to what is and isn't food

Ok will do bro...Whats the growth rate on these guys? Is it as quick as a endlicheri?
they will grow pretty fast to about 8" then slow down to an 1" every couple months at most where as the endl doesn't slow down till about 12". the biggest problem with the endl and really any lowerjaw isn't the length but their width, basically a 8" lowerjaw can eat something much larger than what an upperjaw can
I housed my polli with an endli and they did fine *until* the endli outgrew the polli. Once the endli outgrew the polli, it became a bully (as endlis often are until they pick on someone their own size and learn their lesson) so I housed it with the big boys and it started behaving itself.
Long story short - if the endli is smaller or of the same size as the polli, it should be fine. If the endli gets any larger, keep an eye on things.

At a shop here they had a pet ornate, probably around 5-6", then they got a similar size endli in and overnight it bit the ornate to death. Pretty sad 
endls have the rep as being the jerks of the lowerjaw world, truthfully if getting an upperjaw with an endl i'd do one of the big three(weeksii, ornate, and teugelsi) with weeksii being my 1st choice because of girth
Polli will be fine with endli. No one can tell you what anyone one fish with do aggression wise as each fish has its own personality. As long as they are close in size go for it
CB endli imo don't grow incredibly fast..infact mine were kind of slow. Just.dont over feed, it will control growth and be healthier for the fish in the long run.
Most people make a big deal about Lower jaws and endlis aggression and predation but haven't kept the fish. I've had more upper jaw give me aggression issues than lower jaws.
